I am a graduate of the Târgu Mureș Arts High School (Romania) specializing in Sculpture and of the University of Art and Design of Cluj-Napoca (Romania) specializing in Photo-Video arts, holder of both BA and MA degrees in the aforementioned. From a young age, I was passionate about cartoons, comics, and Japanese anime, and in more recent years in video games as well. Often found myself drawing, designing anime-like, or comic-book characters, and fortunately, this childhood activity turned into a life-defining passion in my adult life.

“Painting is just another way of keeping a diary.”

Pablo Picasso

The object of creation for an artist is firstly a sanctuary and lastly an asylum of his own making. An ephemeral refuge in which reside the multitude of forms, colors or ideas that it stands for.

The apparent chaos of this dwelling is in fact the unique order of the hiding individual whilst seeking to protect itself under shelter. The intrinsic value of the surrounding decorum does not matter, it is just an artifact, a cumulus of details gathered and grouped in a manner as to create – recreate a temporary, brief medium, possibly variable in time. The moment is fulfilled in the whole of this realm, while in the same time both leaving and giving space to possible further accommodation under another form, on another level.

The artist thus becomes the master and tenant of his own space created by his art.
